CHUCKING THINGS OUT (March 6, 2003)
Every time I have moved from one country to another I have forgotten the names of many people and places. The brain seems to chuck out everything that is of little practical value. The trouble with my impending move is that I am beginning to forget the names of people and places months before my departure. With every move the brain appears to get better at chucking things out. By the time I actually leave, I may have difficulty saying my goodbyes.
