RECEPTION (July 28, 2000)

For the first time in the Alps, I am climbing with my mobile phone. The reception is not very good, but it is adequate for text messages, which can be sent and received in the brief intervals of good reception. I am thus in touch with all my women. All my women except Nada, that is. It has crossed my mind today to make sure she has a mobile phone by the next summer. By that time, the reception in the Alps is likely to improve, too.
