COLD GAZE (October 30, 1992)
Having rushed like mad to prepare the feeding bottle, and having picked up your baby boy just before his cry of hunger would turn into a screech of absolute misery, you are always ever so slightly distressed by the cold gaze of his eyes, still swimming in tears, as he guzzles his milk in energetic and jerky gulps. In a few minutes the pain of hunger will subside and his eyes will turn soft and even friendly.
