ON LIBERATION, AGAIN AND AGAIN (June 13, 2019)

I embark upon uncharted journeys through my writings several times a week, but there is a particular piece of writing to which I return even more often. It spells out everything I know about liberation in no more than a thousand words (“On Liberation,” October 4, 2017). Rereading it over and over again gives me enormous joy, and I do not wish to add a single word to it (“On Liberation, Again,” April 10, 2018). Which is why I am still surprised that it does not come up in any of my Google searches aimed at my voluminous writings (“Google, Schmoogle,” April 10, 2019). The only remedy to my confusion is straightforward enough, though. I remind myself ever more often that my writings are not meant for some imaginary readers out there, but for my own sake. Besides, I have no trouble finding my piece on liberation on the World Wide Web. Bingo! If any other worthy readers of my writings pop up in the fullness of time, they are sure to find everything they need to find in many a yearbook that has been on offer to date. All the others are outright irrelevant, anyhow. Liberation in a nutshell.
