Avengers are superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics and turned into movies by Marvel Studios. Movie “Avengers” (2012) made quite a splash around the globe. So far, three sequels have appeared in movies entitled “Age of Ultron” (2015), “Infinity” (2018), and “Endgame” (2019). They were hits one and all. The last sequel just made more than a billion dollars globally in the first week, which is why it has been in the news as of late. And I am delighted by its success. It tells us a great deal about the human species at this stage of evolution. In a word, primates, apes, or simply monkeys. That is, superheroes of life on earth the last hundred-million years or so. Dashes, shrieks, leaps, punches, flaunts… Three cheers for America that brings it all to light in no more than four movies!
