TWO WAITERS TALKING (October 2, 2015)
On my way through the center of Zagreb, I walk past two waiters talking across the street. Both of them are yelling, for there are quite a few cars zooming past between them. Judging by their outfits, they are working for different restaurants. “My mother was right when she kept telling me that I should study harder,” I hear one of them yelling. I am already past the two of them when I hear a roar of laughter on both sides of the street.
