Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, known by all as PewDiePie, is in the news. Born in Sweden in 1989, he is one of the greatest YouTube stars today. His channel is one of the most subscribed. Amazingly, it boasts close to forty-million subscribers from around the globe. The main focus of PewDiePie’s videos is his commentary to various games as he plays through them. The video content of his channel has been described as goofy, energetic, obnoxious, and filled with profanity. Although I have never seen any of PewDiePie’s videos, for I do not have the Adobe Flash Player on my laptop, I am delighted to have come across a representative of the human species who personifies the Twenty-First Century to the fullest. Goofy, energetic, obnoxious, and bursting with profanity, Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg is at the very pinnacle of so-called western civilization. Its eventual collapse on account of the ravages of climate change will be forever marked by the loss of heroes like him.
