Alas, the article makes the same mistake as the pope and Klein: it assumes that making do with less would do the trick. For better or worse, it would not. Not now. The time for stopping to behave like babies had long past. The Guardian is a bit like Naomi Klein and Pope Francis with a pad and pencil.
